Salvaging in Maine

While in Maine, we discovered Portland Architectural Salvage. We stopped in two days in a row, seeing old finds that were salvaged from old boats, restaurants and shops. It hold three endless floors of goodness. We purchased a few smaller items that should arrive soon, one is a foot warmer that you put coals into from the fireplace and it's made of brass, the others are radiator tops so I can now put books and other little trinkets on and also industrial looking lamps that came off an old ferry that travels from Portland to the islands.

Don't you just love finding spots like these?
